Subject of the proceeding: Shooting of a town mayor who was arrested during an anti-partisan warfare operation, as well as - during another operation - shooting of altogether 6 inhabitants - men, women and children - of a village from which partisans had attacked one of the security batallion's reconnaissance parties, which suffered heavy losses as a result. [Also convicted for socially disruptive activities (Schädlingstätigkeit) in the 1950s. Four other defendants were convicted exclusively for criminal offenses committed after 1945, like socially disruptive activities, agitation dangerous to the state, and other acts]
